Terms and Conditions of Course Enrolment

 

Information Sharing

 

It is an obligation for information collected about you and your enrolment in this Registered Training Organisation (RTO) to be submitted to the Australian Government to inform the Government and its agencies about this RTO’s participation in the Vocational Educational Sector. The information is collected in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Act 1988.The information collected will be maintained accurately and securely. This information will not be passed onto a third party unless a written authorisation is received from you. You may access this information freely on request.

 

Enrolment

 

A notification of your course enrolment will be emailed to you with an information pack. This information will include:

  • Course details, including location and venue details

  • Tax invoice

 

Your commencement in the course you have enrolled in is dependant upon:

  • Sufficient enrolments in the course

  • Entry requirements being met

  • Availability of places in the course

  • Receival of required payment of course fees in advance.

 

Course Cancellations / Refunds

 

If If you wish to cancel your enrolment more than 7 working days prior to course commencement you will be refunded 50% of fees paid. Cancellations inside 7 days before course commencement will receive no refund.

 

Refunds will not be made to individuals or organisations where a person is booked into a course and fails to attend. If you cannot attend a course for which you have enrolled in and paid for, a 20% transfer fee applies to any request for transfer where the notice period is less than 7 working days. If there is no notification made by an individual or organisation of transfer 7 working days prior to course commencement there is no refund or transfer of fees paid.

 

In the case of early withdrawal from the course no refund will apply.

 

If for any reason Logicus Training Solutions finds it necessary to cancel a course and a suitable transfer to an alternative course can not be made, you will receive a full refund of fees paid. Logicus Training will not be liable from any claims arising from course cancellations.

 

Logicus Training Solutions will only enrol students who have paid the required course fees in advance.

 

Complaints Handling Procedure

 

The complaints and appeals policy of Logicus Training Solutions provides an avenue for students to address their complaints and appeals to Logicus Training Management and have them dealt with in a constructive and timely manner. Should you have a complaint or an appeal you will need to submit the complaint or appeal in writing to Logicus Training Solutions Management.

 

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

 

RPL is a form of assessment that acknowledges skills and knowledge gained through:

  • Formal training conducted by industry or education

  • Work experience

  • Life experience

This can reduce the amount of learning required to achieve a qualification.

 

The main principle of RPL Focuses on the outcomes of learning rather than when or where the learning occurred. Evidence of competency is collected by the participants and submitted to the nominated assessor and assessment is made based on the required industry standard within the relevant training package unit of competency.

 

If you believe this may apply to you for any part of the course, then you should request an application kit during the enrolment process.

 

If a student would like to pursue RPL they can apply for free at enrolment via an assessment interview where the candidate will be required to present evidence for the relevant units of competency. Should the applicant choose to proceed, the following non-refundable fees apply:

  • $150 Application fee - Includes the initial assessment interview by a qualified assessor

  • $100 Per hour rate which includes:

                    - Time spent with assessor reviewing evidence you will be required to provide

                    - Time spent with assessor attending and observing practical demonstrations

 

Support

 

Logicus Training provide ongoing email and phone support to all participants throughout the selected course.

 

Logicus can also provide one on one, face to face consultation at an hourly rate if requred:

  • First hour free

  • $100 per hour there after

 

Copy of Certificate

 

A request for a copy of a Certificate or Statement of Attainment will incur a $50 administration fee in advance.

 

Payment Structure

 

Logicus Training Solutions will only enrol students who have paid the required course fees in advance.

 

Payment Method

 

Course fees are payable by electronic funds transfer, direct deposit or by cheque.

 

Request for Extension

 

A request for extension can be made in writing if the participant is unable to complete the course within the given timeframe.

A $100 request for extension fee applies and a new deadline will be negotiated between the participant and a Logicus Training Solutions representative.
